UIPM 2016 World Cup #4 - Women's Individual Finalists

The fourth and penultimate round of the 2016 UIPM World Cup got under way today with 86 athletes taking part in the qualifying round for the Women's Individual Final. Many of the participants at World Cup #4 in Kecskemét, Hungary are still pursuing Rio 2016 Olympic Games qualifying points as well as trying to secure coveted World Cup medals and a place in the World Cup Final in Sarasota/Bradenton, USA (May 6-8). With world No.1 Laura Asadauskaite (LTU) and No.2 Lena Schoeneborn sitting out this event, the Women's Individual Final on Saturday, April 16 will be wide open although world No.3 Zsofia Foldhazi (HUN) is sure to be a strong contender in front of a home crowd. The Men's Individual Final takes place on Sunday, April 17 with the Mixed Relay closing proceedings on Monday, April 18. Qualifying for the Men's Individual Final takes place tomorrow (April 15). Starting on Saturday at 1730 CET, the Combined Event of each final at World Cup #4 will be available on live stream at UIPM's new online TV channel uipmtv.org.
