UIPM 2019 GLOBAL LASER RUN CITY TOUR: FEELGOOD FACTOR CONTINUES IN SAN MARTIN (ARG)

After a year of growth in December 2018, Argentina marked another moment of progress on April 16 when the city of San Martin held a successful Global Laser Run City Tour.

The feelgood factor from the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires continued to be felt around the country with 280 athletes taking part on the sports field of the General San Martin High School.

The event, the first to take place in the Mendoza region, was organised by Modern Pentathlon Argentina and a spokesman for the local organizing committee said: "There was a great response from the athletes involved in this new format.

“The whole event was very well disciplined and well organized, and the participants had fun all day.

"The technical officials worked hard to make the event successful and we look forward to becoming more regular members of the UIPM Global Laser Run City Tour in the future."
