UIPM 2019 Pentathlon World Cup Cairo: Men's Individual Finalists

The 2019 UIPM Pentathlon World Cup continued today in Cairo (EGY) with 75 athletes taking part in the qualifying round for the Men's Individual Final.

Former world champions Valentin Belaud (FRA) and Pavlo Tymoshchenko (UKR) were among the successful qualifiers, along with world No.2 Valentin Prades (FRA) and world No.5 Ilya Palazkov (BLR).

The top-performing athlete on the day was Alexander Lifanov (RUS), followed closely by 2018 UIPM junior and youth world champion and Youth Olympic Games gold medallist Ahmed Elgendy (EGY).

The Platinum Club is hosting Pentathlon World Cup Cairo, which continues tomorrow (Friday, March 1) with the Women's Individual Final. The Men’s Individual Final follows on Saturday, March 2 with the Mixed Relay closing the event on March 3.
