Preparations continue for historic first UIPM U15 World Championships in Guatemala City (GUA)

History will be made in Guatemala City (GUA) in December 2024 with the first instalment of the UIPM U15 Tetrathlon World Championships. A global gathering of teenage athletes, coaches and UIPM community members is anticipated at the Austrian-Guatemalan Institute from December 3-8.

The new Tetrathlon format of Obstacle, Swimming and Laser Run will feature in the competition, promoted recently by Paris 2024 Olympian and UIPM Athletes Committee Member Sophia Hernandez (GUA), in the company of Magdalena Quintanilla (Guatemala Modern Pentathlon President) and Rob Stull (NORCECA Confederation President).

Rob Stull said: “It is an honour to have this historic event in our region. These young athletes are dreaming of Brisbane and beyond, and represent the future of this great sport.”
