The 2024 Summer Olympics, officially the Games of the XXXIII Olympiad and also known as Paris 2024, is an upcoming international multi-sport event scheduled to take place from 26 July to 11 August 2024 in Paris, France.

The 2020 Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXXII Olympiad will be hosted in Tokyo, Japan, as announced at the 125st IOC Session held in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2013.
They were originally scheduled to be held in 2020 but due to the COVID-19 Coronavirus pandemic, the Games have been rescheduled for July 23 to August 8, 2021.
These Games will mark the return of the Summer Olympics to Tokyo for the first time since 1964, and the fourth Olympics overall to be held in Japan.
The Modern Pentathlon Test Event (UIPM 2019 Pentathlon World Cup Final) took place on 27-30 June 2019 in Tokyo.
