My parents are a huge inspiration to me and how they have supported me along my journey. There are constantly athletes and people around me that inspire and push me to not only become a better person and athlete, but to also help make the world a better place and positively influence others.

Sport reasons: 

I love that Modern Pentathlon tests an athletes mental and physical ability. There are so many factors that go into training and competing with the different events that I feel I am always pushing myself in many ways. I also get to travel around the world and meet so many other incredible athletes.

Interesting story: 

I first began skiing the day before I was 2 years old.
I grew up hunting deer, elk, and antelope in Colorado.
I slipped at the pool and split my chin open the day before my first major competition, Youth World Championships, and had to get stitches at a Hospital in Sweden.
