GB's Francesca Summers named SportsAid athlete of the month

Following on from her success at both the Youth A World Championships, where she claimed an individual bronze and the team gold, and the Junior World Championships, where she added another team gold after coming fourth in the individual draw, Pentathlon GB's Francesca Summers has been named SportsAid athlete of the month.

The 18-year-old has gone from strength to strength following her silver at the 2013 European Youth A Championships and is now seen as one of the bright young hopes of Great Britain along her teammates at Youth level Kerenza Bryson and Eilidh Prise and at Junior level Alice Fitton and Jo Muir.
