A team bronze medallist from the Mexico 1968 Olympic Games who finished 7th at the following Games in Munich in 1972, and competed in both individual events, Guidicelli was even more respected for his work as a coach.

Seven athletes from different countries across three continents have been named as eligible candidates for the global position on the UIPM Athletes Committee (AC).
The next AC will serve from 2025-2028, encompassing the historic Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games where Obstacle will make its debut in the Olympic Modern Pentathlon.
UIPM 2024 Pentathlon World Cup Sofia kicked off today with 76 athletes taking part in the women’s qualification round.
